Brasserie B by Bobby Flay

$ $ $

Brasserie B by Bobby Flay combines the delights of Parisian cuisine with the casualness of American sensibility. The L- shaped bar and lounge flow into the intimate 140-seat dining room, which features blown-glass chandeliers, cane-backed cafe chairs, and handmade subway tile.

The menu features distinct French-inspired dishes that elevate French cuisine with Celebrity Chef Flay’s creative touches. Savor classic frites, unique raw bar selections, and a variety of starters, entrees, and decadent desserts.

The Lobster Avec Frites pairs French fries with lobster, roasted garlic and lemon butter, while the Ribeye Piquant Avec Frites includes steak with a spicy and sweet glaze and chili butter. (It wouldn’t be a Flay restaurant without chiles!) The thin and crisp house-made hot potato chips are served with a luscious Roquefort blue cheese sauce, and the Lobster Club Sandwich combines bacon, avocado, and yellow chili mayonnaise with a thin apple tart for dessert. Another option is the Eggs Royale, a variation of eggs benedict with smoked salmon and lemon chive hollandaise.

Fans include veteran local journalists Dayna Roselli and Al Mancini. The latter says, “I love the feel of this room, as well as the way Bobby Flay isn’t afraid to take liberties with traditional French fare, infusing it with Spanish, Basque and other influences.”
