Lago’s al fresco waterfront dining, just a stone’s throw from the Bellagio Fountains with the Eiffel Tower in the distance, is one of the most spectacular culinary experiences in Las Vegas. If the weather’s not quite right for dining outside, the main indoor dining room also offers great climate-controlled views of the fountains.

Lago is an oddity for a fine-dining restaurant because it opens at 9 a.m., seven days a week, and stays open until 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. That means you can start your day enjoying eggs, ricotta pancakes or brûlée French toast, and end a late night on the town with antipasti, pizza or something sweet.

Of course, the restaurant really shines during normal dinner hours. The menu opens with several salads and four varieties of shareable pizza. There’s a nice raw bar selection alongside traditional Italian starters like beef carpaccio, fritto misto and whipped ricotta with fennel pollen and honey. Eight pasta dishes can be ordered on their own or accompanied by lobster, crab, caviar or truffles. Main courses range from a simple chicken parmesan over spaghetti to porchetta with braised greens and pork jus.
